About the Standard Tunnel

The Sunrise Standard Tunnel is the standard size for a start: 10 m x 30 m x 4.5 m, with room for 900 plants.

It is built from painted mild steel arches on slanted legs, braced at the corners and between the first two arches, with one door and two ventilation flaps the same size as the arches. It is covered in 200 micron plastic.

Sunrise's sources describe the steel in two ways: the parts list gives 42 x 1.6 mm mild steel, while the 10 m x 30 m drawing shows a 38 mm diameter steel structure on 48 mm posts. The drawing figures are listed separately below, and the exact sizes for your tunnel are confirmed in the quotation.
